Today I decided to block the entire orange.fr ISP network (France Telecom S.A. from what I can tell) from accessing our free sex chat rooms.

We did a small update to the original chat rooms today, and in the process removed the ability to add an avatar pic to go along with the screen names. This also removed the ability for everyone to add a profile link as well. Sorry about this abrupt change to those who used these options frequently, due to some other changes with the chat, it’s simply not going to work any longer.
There is a chance that I would make the avatar pic feature available to premium members who donate to our cause, but that is not going to be possible for a couple weeks at the earliest.

It’s taken a lot of work, but we have put the old chat back together. It’s time for a relaunch, it’s back. The old chat returns from the grave – it’s the old chat version ‘U”, as in undead. We had so many people offer their support to make our systems stronger, and bring back the original chat to it’s former glory, that we just had to make it happen.
Some people are sure to love it, and at this point I am guessing just as many people will not be so happy about the return of our original sex chat system.

This was not an easy decision to make, but today I decided to bid farewell to our old free sex chat rooms system.
It was a good ride. Many people enjoyed our old chat system, and I still believe that it was the best chat system ever made. It wasn’t perfect, but it was better than all the rest. We tested, bought, and attempted to deploy many different chat systems over the years, and the one system we stuck with for more than 10 years was always the best. The speed and modern look and feel made it the best chat system I have ever used.

We’ve got the old chat rooms setup again, and set on a brand new web server. It took quite a bit of time to re-setup everything, but we should have a solid new system now. The last launch of our old chat did not last very long, but this new web server should be able to handle our regular amount of users no problem. Let’s hope anyways!

Welcome back to everyone who was not able to access the free sex chat rooms here recently. We got them back online a few hours ago, and I see people are finding their way back to our favorite chat room hangouts. It’s been a rough ride trying to get everything moved, updated, and extra secured – all the while trying to provide a new place for everyone to use as an scsc backup while we worked on the code fixes around here.

As if I did not have enough going on already! Had to load up some software updates today. Some folks may have noticed the blog was down for a few minutes – or the sex chat peeps section was acting screwy for about 10 minutes. This is all in the name of keeping things updated and secure.
Still working on updates for our chat rooms systems as well! I will keep everyone posted when the next phase of things starts to roll out to the public! Looking forward to a more safe and secure year in 2013. It’s already started out with some challenges, that’s for sure! I haven’t worked this much since the days of managing clubs and building sites on the side.

We upgraded some of the backend code for the peeps / sex chat community section today. This upgrade gave a major update to how this system handles uploading pictures, cropping images, saving them, etc. So I updated our tutorial on how to upload pics there, get the images to the right size, and and acquire the url needed to enter it in the avatar url section for the chat room.

I am updating many of the components of the sex chat peeps section today. Updating more than 100 of the components that power the peeps community, most users will not notice many changes. The biggest change that people will likely notice is the image uploading inside posts (some know this is “the longer method” offering more privacy control over images) – is going through some major changes. I will need to write a new tutorial for everyone who uses that method of image uploading / picture cropping. Hopefully will get that updated tonight.
