We decided to make it easier for everyone to conversate through the blog comments by enabling threaded comments. We also updated the blog theme here to make the comment conversations easy to read. So far I really like how the comments are now working, and it should make it easier for everyone to jump into a conversation and reply to one another rather than just adding a comment at the end of a long line of them. this should make it a better place to engage in conversations around the blog posts and comments that ensue.
We will be adding more to the current blog theme, I like it, but is a little bland. Of course we tend to put function above form, and so that is what we have something here that is made to function well. I am sure that we will add some graphics here and there to make it sexier. For now I want it to be easy for people to follow conversations and add their thoughts to the various other replies. I think this new system here makes that easier.
We are also putting some finishing touches on our new forums with should be ready for public release this upcoming week. At the same time we have our still developing the new flash based chat room that I think everyone is going to enjoy. It’s gonna take a couple of days for our server people to compile everything server side now, and once that is done, then we should be ready for some beta testing this week if everything goes as planned!
