Well maybe you did something wrong, and maybe you didn’t. People are sometimes auto-kicked by the system to this page for typing one of our banned words into the chat. Did you get kicked from the room and see a message about profanity? Info about the profanity filter / banned words kicks. Click here.
Sometimes people are kicked to this page by one of our chat room moderators as a way to force people to read the rules. In most cases these “temporary kicks” will auto-expire in 10 minutes, or a few hours. This gives people a chance to read the rules and understand that they have been warned.
Every once in a while people get kicked here by accident, as sometimes when we try to kick or ban someone the user list moves and the wrong person gets sent here.
In some cases people are permanently banned when sent to this page. If you try to come back to the chat 24 hours later and the system says ‘name or ip banned’; then you have likely been “perma banned”.
The list of chat room rules that most people get kicked
18 and over only.
No one under 18, or pretending to be under the age of 18 years, is allowed to use this site.
Asking another person to pretend that they are less than 18 years old is not allowed.
Talking about sex involving anyone who is not 18 or older, even when reminiscing about your college sex days, or your first sexual experiences (if someone involved was not yet 18) is not allowed.
If you are aware of a user who is not 18 or older you need to alert the moderator(s).
Impersonating another user is strictly prohibited and will get you permanently banned from using this chat system.
No flooding the room with the same comment over and over again.

No continual use of complete capitol letters is allowed, unless they are used sparingly. Usage of ALL CAPITOL LETTERS is considered to be YELLING in most online chat worlds.

Posting links to pics, videos, or to web sites, where the age of majority is difficult to discern, or they fall below Nash’s trust rank of 80 is not allowed.

Arguments / Drama / Flame wars, fanning
We prefer that arguments not be ongoing drama in the lobby. If you disagree with another user, agree to disagree and do not fill up the chat window with flame wars, or fan the flames either. Use the ignore / block button to silence someone who is typing what you don’t want to hear. People who continually argue, or continue to attempt to entice others in arguing can and will be banned from the site.
Harassment
Harassing other users, a group of users, or the moderators is grounds for being kicked, banned, and or prosecuted. This has been a part of the terms of service since the site was started. I am re-mentioning it here to bring your attention to it, additional info is found on our terms of use page. There are serious issues with not only being kicked from the chat room, but also in us recording and giving up your personally identifying information in cases of harassment.
Harass – (from webster’s dictionary online) (1) : to annoy persistently (2) : to create an unpleasant or hostile situation for especially by uninvited and unwelcome verbal or physical conduct
harassment (from http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/harassment ) (either harris-meant or huh-rass-meant) n. the act of systematic and/or continued unwanted and annoying actions of one party or a group, including threats and demands. The purposes may vary, including racial prejudice, personal malice, an attempt to force someone to quit a job or grant sexual favors, apply illegal pressure to collect a bill, or merely gain sadistic pleasure from making someone fearful or anxious. Such activities may be the basis for a lawsuit if due to discrimination based on race or sex, a violation on the statutory limitations on collection agencies, involve revenge by an ex-spouse, or be shown to be a form of blackmail (“I’ll stop bothering you, if you’ll go to bed with me”). The victim may file a petition for a “stay away” (restraining) order, intended to prevent contact by the offensive party. A systematic pattern of harassment by an employee against another worker may subject the employer to a lawsuit for failure to protect the worker. (See: harass, sexual harassment)
Be Defensive!
If there is a user who is talking about something that you do not want to hear or is continually pming you after you have asked them to stop, simply click their name on the list of users (participants panel) and select ‘Block User’ – you will not be able to see any of their comments for the rest of your login time. It’s the magical “poof! They are gone button, otherwise known as the iggy button! This could save you from getting kicked or banned, and save your sanity.
GFA Clause
If you are generally fucking annoying, you may be kicked or banned. This includes all kinds of things, and may mean different things to different people, but if for example you just type some gibberish, or try to make fun of the rules, or push the limits, or just post some stupid you tube links, or do anything else that annoys the group or one of the moderators you may be kicked or banned under the GFA clause.
Some topics and screen names are only allowed in certain niche rooms.
Edge-play / taboo terms (terms that are not well accepted in the mainstream world) are not allowed to be in the lobby. Certain discussions / screen names that may be tolerated in one room may be reason for a kick or ban in another room.
If you send private messages to people that include edge play / taboo terms and they did not ask for those types of message, you may be permanently banned from the system.
Examples:
Abusive, forced sex, humiliation or rape like names or discussions are not allowed in the main rooms such as the lobby, and are only allowed in the forced sex fantasy room, a user created room, or perhaps the BDSM room, if others there at the time do not find offense to the discussion.
Any type of incest type of discussion is not permitted in any of the system created rooms aside from the family fun room.
Golden showers and the like are only permitted in the squirting room, or a user create room.
Coming into the Lesbian action room with a dick avatar, screen name that includes references to male genitalia or talking about dick / cock in the open room or via unwanted pms, will get you kicked or banned from the system. Same applies to anyone who would come into the gay / bisexual men chat room and start talking about female anatomy graphically and in the open room. This includes fictional names and terms like futa.
There are too many niche and fetish things to list here, but be aware that if you have a screen name, or engage in a discussion, or use an avatar that a majority of people in the chat room you are in find offensive, you should create your own room, or you may be asked to change, or be kicked / banned.
Nickname Guidelines
Many users include their age-sex-location in their screen name. Doing this is not necessary but it is rather helpful and will help decrease the time it takes to find a session.

This web site follows the ASACP guidelines for unacceptable terms – using any of the terms listed below, or similar variations in your screen name or lobby conversations will get you permanently banned from using this site.

Taboo / Edge Play Terms in Screen Names
If your screen name may be offensive to a majority of people in a certain room, then you should not be there.
eg – Having a screen name with dick, cock, or eludes to such imagery in the lesbian room is not allowed.
If your screen name eludes to something taboo, make sure you are aware of the taboo terms / edge play discussions rules posted above.
Coming to the rooms with a name including rape, abuse, incest, bestiality, or another controversial term or a variation, you may get kicked from the system if you stay in the lobby. Edge-play / taboo terms (terms that are not well accepted in the mainstream world) are not allowed to be in the lobby. However, you can keep terms that are not accepted in the lobby, as long as they are allowed in the system, if you go to another room such as the forced sex room or the family fun room that do not find the terms offensive.

Chat Room Etiquette
Intro and ask before pm
Be polite; ask someone in the main chat if they would like to PM with you before start to private message them. Many people, especially women, consider PMing without asking first to be very rude.
If you send private messages to people that include edge play / taboo terms and they did not ask for those types of message, you may be permanently banned from the system.
Not all topics are allowed in the main lobbies. For this reason we have created several niche rooms, and users have the option to create their own room. If you want to take part in such discussions simply click the green arrow and door icon 
at the top of the chat area to change to your desired fantasy room. (See info above about taboo terms and edge play discussions and screen names)
We have an active community of regular users, also known as regs, here on our site who are usually friendly and helpful. If you’re new here, take some time to get to know the regs and the moderators. Just like in real life, the relationships online take some time to build, so hang out for a while to get to know the other users and vice versa. Enjoy the banter, the interchanges, the craziness, and the humor and you’ll be just fine. The ignore button is a great feature! If someone is pming you with out permission, or saying things in the chat room that you do not want to hear, simply click their name on the list and select ‘block user.’ You will not see any comment by that person for the rest of your login period in the chat site.
The Moderators
Our chat rooms have volunteer Moderators who help people and enforce the rules to provide our users with a safe and fun chatting environment. When a Moderator is in their ‘Admin’ role, their name will appear red in the list of names to the right of the chat area. Please remember Mods are people too, who want to enjoy conversations with friends and they often have private messages and whispers that they are keeping track of along with the lobbies and other rooms. If you have a problem or witness a serious infraction you are more than welcome to pm a Moderator for help and tell them about the incident, which they will be happy to help you with.
Sometimes the Moderators will be in the room but will not appear in red. Sometimes a moderator will be in a room with a regular screen name, and not in moderator / admin mode. Sometimes a moderator or site admin could be in a room and be completely invisible. Some moderator’s names will appear as yellow or purple. If you need help go into the main lobby and ask for a Moderator, chances are that there will be a Mod logged in or someone who can reach a Moderator for you.
Please be nice to the Moderators, they are very busy people and have a lot of different things to take care of in the rooms. They can easily misunderstand something a person types, so be polite and patient! To make sure the room is taken care of Moderators are given the power to warn (an alert shows up on the selected user’s screen), freeze (the user is unable to talk for a period of time), kick (the user is removed from the room for several minutes to a day) and ban a user and their IP address from our chat system forever.
Many times our moderators will warn and or educate a user before they are kicked / banned – but this is not always the case, there is no rule that moderator must warn before kicking a user who is breaking the rules.

You could of been kicked or banned by accident
The chat rooms here get pretty busy, and when moderators click on the names to kick or ban, sometimes the list moves and we end up banning the wrong person. It happens, and if it has happened to you, we apologize, it’s the moving list, and once in a while it’s human error. More than likely the list moved in the process, and the wrong person got bumped. No need to freak out though, when that happens the ban is generally temporary, and you are not added to our forbidden access list. If you were on the forbidden access list, you wouldn’t be reading this post right now.
Violating Sexchatsexchat.com’s Terms of Service, the chat room’s rules, content guielines, or etiquette policies will result with you being kicked from our chat services temporarily or possibly being permanently banned. Some kicks/bans only last for five minutes, while other may last one hour, six hours, twelve hours, or even twenty-four hours. Users who have committed major offenses will be permanently banned. Users who were banned from the chat system and still cannot join the chat after waiting 25 hours, have been permanently banned.
It’s been 25 hours and the chat box still says name or ip is banned. Can I get this ban lifted?
Well first please read the netiquette rules, it only takes a few minutes. Please ask questions in the comments section on that page if you are unclear about any of the rules, and we will work to clarify. Double check that you understand the rules, the content guidelines and terms of service. Maybe you did something innocent and didn’t know that it violates our policies. Sometimes that happens, and if it has happened to you, send me comment below, and explain to me that you have read and understand the rules, and promise to play by them. I’ll consider the situation.
Please note –
Some of the rule infractions will cause permanent banning, and no promises or begging will get you unbanned ever. I’m not going to list all of the things that will make a ban stick forever, but just so you know, if you have posted web addresses to other commercial sites, asked for money, or played like you were not an adult, then you will be forever banned from the site. There are other things that people have done that have led to a permanent ban as well.
Before you ask about your kick or ban from the chat room in the comments below – wait at least 24 hours. Many times when a user is kicked or banned from the chat room by one of our moderators, the ban only last for 10 minutes, or an hour, or 24 hours. 90% of the time when someone asks about being banned and for how long in the comments below, by the time I get to see the comment and look it up, the ban has already expired / auto-cleared by the system.

-Adam- I just got some new info about your kick.. it seems that you entered a user created room and got kicked, and then returned to that room, got kicked again – and there appears to be even more to the story that I don’t want to get into.
First off, there is a good paragraph about this up above in this page – I suggest reading that. Also considering that you attempted to return to a room several times it seems that you were not welcome in by the room creator, that starts to turn into harassment issues, which there is also another paragraph on this page above that discusses harassment.
Please read that info above again, and I must suggest that should you find yourself kicked from a user created room again, or asked to leave someone alone, that you do not return to their room, and that you leave anyone alone who asks to be left alone. There are VERY serious consequences here if a user is harassed in this manner via our site – we do more than just perma-ban a user when that happens. Some of that is outlined in the rules posted on this page, additional information as outlined on our terms of service page, and also the privacy policy page would also come into affect with this situation – so tread carefully.
You should now be very aware of the possible consequences of your actions.
Hi Adam, you got pmed about your behavoir, and got asked to stopped twiced ( I could paste the pm here) and yet you carried on and now come up with a story of just logging on, as Nash said read the site rules and if I may add when a mod pm’s and requests something you actually listen and not do the opposite 2 minutes later which wastes the mods time.

i logged in with the name “horny guy” and was able to logout successfully yesterday. Today when I am trying to login it says “nickname or IP address banned”. I do not understand how this happened, I always behave properly and never been kicked out. Can you please remove the ban. I think now onwards I can login with some specific name so that it can not clash with others in the same IP range or ISP, this may help me to avoid ban due to someone else mistake.

Nicki was warned for his / her behaviour and decided to take no notice of any advice or warnings.
Nicki has also been reported to me as pestering other girls in the lesbian chat room and there have been several incidents over the weeks of this individual being reported to me for being a man being a pest. The behaviour of Nicki I have to add is what we typically observe as being that of men in the lesbain room using girls names.
Following my advice and warnings, of which he/she took no notice, Nicki was kicked.
Instead of reading the rules and taking the opportunity to reflect on his/her behaviour, he/she then returned to the room as Audrey and immediately continued with the exact same behaviour. (IP numbers matched). Hence the subsequent kick.

Nikki – you say you are a girl… there have been some issues that bring that into question, that is one thing. The pestering and annoying are another issue entirely. I will have to think about this.
I am not sure about the extent of the “pestering” or other issues of GFA – perhaps those could be considered, dealt with, and if you got an understanding of the issue and how to not continue any of that, then we could talk about that aspect.
The only reason I bring up the above, and it’s just a possibility – not a guarantee or anything – just a thought at this point – is that we might be able to go there if SG would chime in and try to help you do better in that aspect, AND this could only come to fruition if you get verified here to prove you are a girl.
My IP got banned here and I haven’t done any major violations. Oh, I do remember not being able to log in some days ago because I tried exchanging emails with someone. But I after 5 minutes, I was able to get back on.

I asked her why she got kicked out and she ignored me.

aakash – at this moment my best guess is that you use an Internet Service Provider (ISP) – that does not currently provide you with what is called a “static ip address” – so every time you reconnect to the internet, you are essentially given a new “public computer IP address”. So, when you lost connection and came back, your ISP assigned you a new public IP address, which was in a broad range of IP addresses that we have previously banned.
Since the ISP that you use has been used by many others who have frequently broken many rules in our chat rooms, we have begun blocking ranges of 1,000 IP addresses at a time – this will prevent many people who use the same ISP as you from using our chat rooms. It is unfortunate that the bad manners of a few people have ruined the ability of thousands in your city from enjoying free services such as ours on the internet, but that is currently the only way we have to fix this situation.
Your ISP has not been very cooperative with the administration of this site in disconnecting the individual users who frequently break our rules and terms of service agreements, so we are left with no other choice.
At this point the only relief that you will be able to seek is if you contact your ISP and ask them if it is possible to assign you a “static ip address” – that way we can “whitelist” your static IP address so you can once again access our chat rooms.
If your ISP (Internet Service Provider) will not assign you a static IP address, then I am sorry to say that you will find yourself not able to access our chat rooms often these days, and even less in the future as we have to continually broad range ban blocks of addresses from your ISP – as they make it so easy for users to abuse our service, get kicked out, and come back quickly to continue the abuse.

sharmi – I really hope that you will re-read all the rules on this page and get some idea of the reason(s) you would of been kicked.
This would save you from being permanently banned in the future. It would also not only help you from being kicked again, but provide us with a method for instructing you on what to do or not do in the future should you find yourself in this situation again.
People get much more leeway in having a ban reversed if they can see what they did wrong, admit to it, and explain that they now know and understand all of the rules, and that they will make sure not to break the rules again. For those people who just say that they do not know why they were kicked from the free sex chat rooms – that just makes me think that perhaps you did not read and completely understand the rules, and it makes me less likely to forgive a mistake that was made.

I hope you appreciate that the reason for the ban is to give you the opportunity to get verified and as such, remove any doubt that has been raised as to your being under the age of 18.
There is no malice intended, just a necessary precaution to prevent minors accessing the site and I would hope you can understand that.
As for multi loggin in, you have been spoken to about this before. One or two logins is somewhat ‘acceptable’ at quiet times, but unfortunately you log in under several names (see above) and often at the same time.
Simple resolution to the whole problem is to get verified, and limit your logins.

It would also be a good time to review the rules of the site and actually listen to the feedback that you have been given about themed rooms and complaints from others here on the site. Being 18 is one thing, being mature is another thing.

Regarding a double login – this is allowed only in certain cases, with restrictions. A triple login is strictly forbidden. I will update our etiquette page to reflect this, our terms page has already been updated to reflect this.
Regarding other issues that could keep your permanently banned, I have had many complaints about a pushy behavior you have exhibited in several of the rooms. If you continue this behavior of “groping others who are unwelcome to your advances” or being very pushy either openly in the rooms or via pms, I will consider this a for of repeated harassment and you will find yourself in more than just a perma ban situation. I do not have time to go into more specifics at this time, it is my hope that you will be able to reconsider how some of your advances and comments have been perceived by others and choose to change the way you interact with other users in the sex chat rooms.

chubbydaddy – it is really against the rules to talk about cams in the open room currently. It is a big violation to mention other cam sites in the main room. If you find yourself getting to know someone and you want to share that kind of thing via PM / private messaging that is fin. These rules are established to keep the professional cam whores from spamming our chat rooms and annoying people with “cum see me live on this cam site dot com” kind of thing. So anyone who does that in the main room will be kicked / banned.
I will release your ban, as it seems you are certainly aware of our rules at this point, and why we have these established. I am releasing this ban given that is seems that you were not promoting another cam site for commercial purposes. In the future we will have our own on-site cam to cam options for our users, and may even have a section where professional cam girls can present themselves, within a set of guidelines, that will be user friendly and not spammy.

Hey Doll – I can only assume that someone else who uses the same ISP / Internet Service Provider as you has been flooding the chat room, or breaking another rule, and getting a broad range IP ban again. Doll will you do me a favor? Please contact your internet service provider and ask them if there is any way that they can assign you a static IP address. I just need to know if it’s even possible. Some ISPs will not be able to do that, some can, some charge an extra fee to do it. Please let me know if your ISP has the option in any way shape or form.

They may offer the option for a small fee, and they may offer it free, or it may not even be possible depending upon their network configuration. Smart Guy – if you are sure that you have done nothing against any of the rules, then perhaps someone else who uses the same ISP as you was abusing the free chat room, and got a broad range ban preventing them from using that same Internet Service Provider to come in and flood the room.

Hello, I was kicked several weeks ago and am not sure why, even after reading through the rules. I believe it may have a been a mistake in that the mod kicked the wrong person? I was in a private chat and was not even posting anything at the time I was kicked. I waited several weeks hoping it was an accident and I’d be let back on or that the person who was supposed to be banned was only banned for a time, but it seems to have been a permanent ban. I believe the IP address was banned because no matter what screen name I use, I’m still locked out.
I was a regular attender of this site and had been coming here for many months. I enjoy your site and was always respectful of the rules and the people enforcing them. I would appreciate it if you considered lifting the ban from my IP address so I could access the chat forum again. Thanks 🙂
Jmain there is something in the ban notes about a name you were using perhaps requesting that someone roleplay as not yet an adult. Being, pretending to be, or asking other to pretend to be, or engaging another user who are believe to be under 18 is strictly forbidden here, even if it is legal in your country or origin, or it is just roleplay of two 50 year old people – it is still not allowed. I am unsure of the specifics, as the ban notes are simply just a couple of coded words, and nothing extensive to get a better idea of the situation that actually occurred.
I do appreciate you taking the time to read and understand the rules, looking for things that could have caused the ban, and waiting the requested 24 hours before commenting here. If you think this is a mistaken, then I will need to contact the mod who placed the ban and ask for details. If you think that a conversation you were having could of been perceived as such, then contacting the mod would do nothing but waste our time.

ben – someone else named “Ben” from a different country than you actually got perma banned. You are not banned though, just pick a different username like “Ben20m” or something like that.. maybe Ben-m-25 – anything like that really should work for you.
